כותבין שטר למוכר ואע"פ שאין לוקח עמו כיון שהחזיק זה בקרקע נקנה שטר כל מקום שהוא וזו היא ששנינו נכסים שאין להן אחריות נקנין עם הנכסים שיש להן אחריות בכסף ובשטר ובחזקה
a deed may be written for the seller though the buyer is not with him. [In this case,] as soon as [the buyer] takes possession of the ground he acquires [also] the deed, irrespective of the place in which it is kept.
